1. The Specific Service
The purpose of Work4u is to provide information and services for the benefit of jobseekers interested in finding a job abroad and employers interested in finding candidates from other countries.
Work4u provides access to job vacancies published by Employers.
The site offers jobseekers the opportunity to publish their details and photos online, and employers the opportunity to search for and view details of possible candidates.
Jobseekers and employers may find their needs.
2. What personal information do we collect, for what purpose and by which technical means?
Identification Data
Jobseekers
The personal information related to the creation of a professional profile for jobseekers is limited to the data necessary to identify a particular person. Only name, address and e-mail address for contact purposes are mandatory. In addition, users may optionally indicate other contact details (phone, and fax number) and data that can be used for sending out targeted information (date of birth, nationality, language, sex etc').
When creating and professional profile, in addition to the personal data, candidates are requested to provide information on their educational and professional backgrounds, language and personal skills, as well as their desired employment/occupational field.
Before the details can be published in the system, the jobseeker is invited to review the information that will become visible to other users.
Employers
Any employer that sends his job offer to Work4u must know that our services, for him/her, are free from any charges.
Technical information
Data are stored in a database located in the Work4u Commission and access to this data is protected by an authentication mechanism. Access to the service is made available through the Work4u Web servers, also located in the Data Centre, where the application is hosted.
3. Who has access to your information and to whom is it disclosed?
Information on job seekers' un identifying details is made available, for searching and display purposes, to employers, without the need to register and being verified by the site administrator and in alliance with Regulation 45/2001 on the protection of personal data or the national law, implementing Directive 95/46/EC, of the respective country of residence of the organization inside the EEA.
The service for the employer is completely free of charge and it may not be used for any form of commercial advertising.
Information on registered jobseekers or employers will not be disclosed to anybody external to Work4u. The data stored will not be used for sending out any kind of information to the registered users unless they have explicitly agreed to it, apart from messages relating directly to the service, its availability and development, and surveys and the like conducted for evaluation purposes.
4. How do we protect and safeguard your information?
Only registered and accepted Employers and Work4u advisers can browse jobseekers' personal details.
5. How can you verify, modify or delete your information?
Once your details has been placed in the Work4u site, jobseekers and employers will be able to modify their data at any time. All they need to do is to mail us modify or update their details already published.
6. How long do we keep your data?
Jobseekers details stored in our system for as long as they require a job. We will not delete their data from the site and/or system (only in case they mail us otherwise).
Employers details will be available for a period of twelve months. They can be deleted sooner in case the emploper found an employee and doesn't need our services any longer.
